La Maison is a magnificent, secluded former 16th Century Cognac Estate set in 4 acres of formal grounds and woodland with views over the surrounding farmland and rolling hills.
La Maison has been fully renovated and the rooms are stylishly furnished. There are plenty of areas for relaxing and socialising inside and out. If you are looking for a holiday where you can combine tennis, yoga, exploring the local countryside by foot or by bike or you just want to laze by the pool with a glass of wine and a book this is the perfect holiday for you.
There will also be additional activities for those who like to keep busy, a trip to the local market, vineyard or the historic Saint-Emilion. For the more adventurous there is kayaking or wake boarding. We have organised for a yoga instructor to come in for sunrise yoga three mornings during the week in the yoga studio. You will also be able to book a massage/holistic therapy.
La Maison and the Petite Maison has luxurious accommodation for 4 double rooms, 3 double/twins and 1 twin, all rooms are ensuite apart from two. Each room is unique in design and décor, one of the larger suites having a free standing bath in the bedroom another of the bedrooms opening onto the back garden.

LA MAISON Dordogne, France Accommodation
GARDEN ROOM (Ground Floor)
A gorgeous large bright room with french doors opening onto the back courtyard. It has two double beds and an en suite bathroom (shower only). This room is suitable for two people sharing.
EMPEROR SUITE (First Floor)
An exquisite double room with a 6ft four poster bed, ensuite shower/bath room. This room is very spacious and looks out over the wonderful rolling hills.
FRENCH SUITE (First Floor)
This gorgeous double room has a 6ft four poster bed, free standing bath in the bedroom and an ensuite with shower. This room has wonderful views out over the valleys.
THE TOWER ROOM (First Floor)
A cosy king size/twin room with seating area and an ensuite with bath and shower.
TWIN ROOM (First Floor)
A quaint room with 2 single beds. Shared bathroom with one other room with shower and bath.
BEAMS ROOM (First Floor)
A king size/twin room with beams believe it or not. Shared bathroom with one other room, with shower and bath. This room has views out over the valleys.
LA PETITE MAISON (Separate House)
La Petite Maison is a separate French Farmhouse on the Estate, it boasts superb views over the fields and the castle topped hill and the village of Chillac. It is only a few minutes walk to the main house/pool and has its own secluded garden. The rooms are as follows:-
ROOM 1
A Double room with en-suite shower/bathroom and dressing room. This room is spacious and looks out over the picturesque fields.
ROOM 2 –
A Double room with an en-suite with a shower. This room looks out over the picturesque fields.
TERMS:- To reserve your place we require a £500 non refundable deposit. The final payment will be due 8 weeks prior to your departure. Cancellations are non-refundable, unless we can fill your place.
